James Hsu

James Hsu is a Los Angeles Product Design leader. He thinks a lot about the overlap between design, community, the greater good, and self-improvement. He's led product design efforts for companies, including Disney, Live Nation, Ubisoft, and most recently Sony (Crunchyroll). He's recognized by the world-respected Nielsen Norman Group and holds a UX Master Certification.  His work focuses on product, growth, and visual design.

Prior to now, he helped build and launch products at Disney, Live Nation, and various startups ranging from technology, entertainment, and advertising. He graduated with a BFA from Cal Poly Pomona, and spends an alarmingly large time thinking about design solutions, how to survive a zombie apocalypse, and if those 2 worlds will ever overlap.
