I’m James Hsu — I’ve spent the last decade of my career learning everything I can about being a UXer, working at companies like Disney, Live Nation, and FabFitFun and even earning a UX Master Certification (1 of 500) from The Nielsen Norman Group — the g.o.a.t. firm on web usability in the world.
I founded Dark UX Academy™ with the intention of sharing my experiences and knowledge with as many people I can to help them become well rounded designers as quickly as possible.
By focusing on teaching best practices and in addition to the awareness of dark practices, I aim to build a generation of responsible and well rounded designers that allow you to create your own career filled with community, balance, financial success, and lasting experiences that help shape the world.
